To reduce fishing efforts at reef areas, the project promotes coastal / offshore fishery with fish aggregating devices (FAD). At local workshops on FAD fishery, the community people assemble and deploy FAD units at coastal / offshore areas, make a FAD management guideline, and organize FAD management committees.
